Welcome to The Lickey Hills Local History Society website, which provides information about the Society, our research, and our programme of talks.
We warmly welcome visitors to any of the talks. No need to book, just turn up! All you need is an interest in local history.

Val Hunt

1951-2021

The Society is sad to report the death of our much loved Committee member, Val Hunt.

She was a respected fellow researcher and friend. We will miss her enthusiasm, and sense of fun.

We send our heartfelt condolences to her family.

Rest in peace, Val.

February 2017: New Section: Historic Military Activity on the Lickey Hills. Two centuries of military activity investigated.
September 2016: The Joliffe family and the Last Great Days of Cofton Hall by Charles Blount publication from 1980 is now available to view.
Summer 2015: New Section: People - People of interest people who are connected to the local area in some way.
